In this video we will explain how to install and use an extremely useful plugin for Qt Creator: the SpellChecker plugin, a 3rd party contribution. Do you wonder, why do we even need spell checking? The answer is pretty simple: when we use a GUI framework such as Qt, we are going to have many user-visible strings. It would be really silly to ship software containing spelling mistakes appearing on our users' screens, wouldn't it? And while word processors have implemented spell checking for decades, editors for programmers used to not have a similar feature... well, not any more!
