KDAB at Qt World Summit 2015

Qt World Summit, organized by The Qt Company, is the premier Qt event of the year and follows on from Qt Developer Days that KDAB organized 2012–2014. KDAB has been a main contributor to the event as a major sponsor. Our experts give many of the in-depth technical presentations and we run the popular pre-conference trainings.

Berlin, October 2015

We had a great time and, naturally, a big presence at The Qt World Summit as these highlights show – if you didn’t make it this time, you really must not miss the next one.

There were close on 820 participants and around 400 of them attended our Training Day on Oct 5th, where they could choose between 8 options, including our *new* training: Debugging and Profiling Apps, which was packed out.

There were lots of good talks during the conference, many new sponsors and terrific demos – notably at our Diamond Sponsor stand where the hot favorites were the CAD, which displays a 3D model of a Rolls Royce Trent 900 Engine and the Migari touch UI, a real-world example of a machine front-end for industrial use.

After three years of organizing this event, it was good to be able to relax and enjoy the show. You can see the Keynotes here from the Qt Company, who hosted the event this year.

KDAB speakers delivered the following talks across the two day conference, including two Lightning talks and two BeHeard sessions:
