KDAB’s BogDan Vatra, the man who ported Qt for use with Android, is coming to London and Berlin in March and Paris in April on his 3 City tour. He will conduct three hour workshops Free to Qt enthusiasts.

Not just a simple how-to, this session will include insightful discussions on why things are the way they are, how the internals of Qt on Android work and how Qt itself is deployed on Android devices.

Participants will learn:

  • how to set up the Android development environment
  • how to run and deploy an application
  • Android specific concerns like its security model and signing packages
  • how to use JNI to access and use Android Java APIs from Qt and vice-versa.

    1. Hi Dan. No we don’t intend to release a video. We do intend to run similar events in USA and Canada, if that’s relevant.
