Your December 2024 Newsletter

Are you ready for the holidays? We're almost there, so we decided to send out our newsletter a bit earlier this month to ensure you are well informed before the holidays arrive.

One of the December blogs that you might want to read is another one written by Nathan Collins, What’s the Right OS for Your Embedded Device?  Nicolas Guichard has also written one for you this month, Improvements to Mozilla’s Searchfox Code Browser.

When it comes to videos released in December, your queue is overflowing with options. You can choose between 8 new videos in the Intro to Qt Widgets series, two new videos in a new series about the CRA and Open Source, and the final episode of the Mixing C++ and Rust video series.

We've got new 2025 training dates for you, for the training courses on Advanced QML, Introduction to C++ and Advanced Qt Widgets. If you're interested in learning about Rust, we have a few 2025 training dates listed below that you might want to consider.

If you're going to Embedded World 2025 and Qt World Summit 2025, we will be at our booth and eager to meet you. It would be a pleasure.

We hope that your holiday season has been great so far and will continue to be through the end of 2024! See you again next year!

What's the right OS for your Embedded Device?

by Nathan Collins

Choosing the ideal software stack for your embedded device is a decision that influences both its performance and long-term value. With so many tools available, the burden of figuring out where to start can feel overwhelming. This blog aims to help you streamline your software selection, focusing primarily on the lowest level of the software stack: the operating system.
